The 2014 BET Awards red carpet was nothing short of a high-voltage fashion spectacle. Held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. The Oscar-winner wows in a canary yellow, asymmetric Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown on the cover of Elle France's summer issue. The spread deems the 31-year-old '12 Years a Slave' actress a "superstar," and inside, she opens up about her remarkable year.
Beyond her breakthrough success, Lupita's also graced Vogue's July cover, and has been named the latest face of Lancome.
Next up, the Yale alum will appear in "Star Wars: Episode VII," and lend her vocal talents to "The Jungle Book" opposite Scarlett Johansson and Idris Elba.
