The Most Memorable Moments From BTS’s ARIRANG World Tour in Toronto, Canada

After an unforgettable run of shows across the United States, BTS brought their ARIRANG World Tour to Toronto, Canada, for two highly anticipated nights at Rogers Stadium on August 22 and 23, 2026. For Canadian ARMY, the wait was especially meaningful. The Toronto concerts marked BTS's first shows in Canada in more than a decade, making the two-night stop a major moment for fans.

And Toronto gave BTS plenty of memories in return, from performances under hours of rain to surprise songs, huge crowd reactions and some particularly emotional moments between the members and ARMY.

The moment BTS stepped onto the stage in Toronto, the significance of the occasion was impossible to miss. The group opened with “Hooligan,” followed by “Aliens” and “Run BTS,” launching the audience straight into the high-energy world of ARIRANG. The Toronto set followed the core structure of the ARIRANG tour, moving through new album tracks and beloved BTS classics including “Fake Love,” “Not Today,” “MIC Drop,” “Fire,” “IDOL,” “Butter” and “Dynamite.”

But the concert wasn't simply about hearing familiar songs. It was about seeing all seven members together again in Canada.

One of the biggest stories from the Toronto shows was, once again, the weather. Rain became a major part of the concert experience, particularly on the second night. BTS and ARMY continued with the show despite the wet conditions, with Rogers Stadium soaked after hours of rain. The show continued despite the weather. For fans, it was almost symbolic.

Rain had already become part of the story during the Goyang opening concerts, and now Toronto was experiencing its own version of a rain-soaked ARIRANG night. Instead of sending everyone home, the weather seemed to create an even stronger sense of togetherness. Everyone was wet. Everyone was tired. But everyone was still there for BTS.

If there was one performance that perfectly captured the explosive atmosphere in Toronto, it was “MIC Drop.” The song transformed the stadium into one enormous party. Fans were jumping, screaming and singing along, creating an incredible wall of sound around the stage. And that's exactly what “MIC Drop” was made for.

The encore brought another massive sing-along with “Dynamite.” The song has become one of BTS's most recognizable global hits, and Toronto ARMY gave it the kind of reception you'd expect from a stadium filled with longtime fans. The Toronto performances also featured a special dance-break moment during “Dynamite,” adding another burst of energy to the encore.

After the intensity of the main set, “Dynamite” was the perfect opportunity for everyone in the stadium to simply have fun. As with the rest of the ARIRANG World Tour, Toronto had its own surprise-song tradition. The two nights produced completely different selections. Toronto Day 1 had “Outro: Wings” and “Dope” while Toronto Day 2 got “Outro: Tear” and “00:00 (Zero O'Clock)”

The surprise songs are one of the most exciting elements of the ARIRANG tour because neither ARMY nor the members necessarily know which tracks will appear until the moment arrives. The tour's format has BTS asking the DJ to spin a random song from their discography, creating spontaneous performances and plenty of funny moments when the members have to remember old lyrics and choreography.

And Toronto's choices were particularly special. The Toronto audience immediately knew what they were getting. And the energy inside the stadium reportedly went through the roof. It was another reminder that BTS's enormous discography gives the ARIRANG tour endless possibilities for surprise performances.

Day 2

The second Toronto show took a much more emotional turn. The surprise songs were “Outro: Tear” and “00:00 (Zero O'Clock).” For RM, those songs carried memories of a difficult period in his life. During the Toronto concert, RM reflected on the emotional state he was in when working on the tracks, describing that period as a time when he was “fighting stuff, fighting demons.”

But what made his words particularly moving was the realization that he was now singing those lyrics with ARMY in 2026. The songs may have been connected to painful memories when they were created, but standing on stage years later gave them another meaning. The difficult chapter had passed. The songs remained. And now thousands of fans were singing those words back to him.

“00:00 (Zero O'Clock)” has always carried a message of hope and starting over. Its appearance in Toronto was therefore especially meaningful. The song speaks to the idea that even after a difficult day, midnight arrives and another day begins.

For BTS, that message feels particularly relevant after everything the members experienced between the earlier era of those songs and their 2026 reunion. The members are now performing together again. ARMY are filling stadiums around the world again. And songs that once belonged to an earlier chapter have become part of a new one.

It's easy to look at a concert through its setlist. But the most memorable moments are often the things that happen between the songs. The screams when a member appears on the big screen. The crowd singing louder than expected. The members laughing together. The rain falling over the stadium. The surprise when the first notes of an unexpected song begin.

The feeling of realizing that you're watching BTS perform live again. Those are the moments fans carry home. The Toronto stop demonstrated once again why the ARIRANG World Tour is about more than simply promoting a new album. BTS are celebrating their history. They're reconnecting with fans. And they're revisiting songs that have followed them throughout their career.

Toronto gave them a particularly enthusiastic welcome, and the response from ARMY made the two-night stop feel like a celebration of BTS's return to Canada. From “Hooligan” at the beginning to “Into the Sun” at the end, the concerts moved between new music, legendary hits, nostalgia and emotional moments.

And in between it all, there was plenty of rain. The Toronto concerts will undoubtedly be remembered as some of the most memorable stops on the ARIRANG World Tour. There was the excitement of BTS returning to Canada. There was the rain on the first day. There was the stadium-wide reaction to “MIC Drop.” There was the explosive “Dynamite” dance break. There were the surprise performances of “Outro: Wings” and “Dope” on Day 1. And then came “Outro: Tear” and “00:00 (Zero O'Clock)” on Day 2, giving fans one of the most emotional surprise-song combinations of the tour.

Most importantly, there was BTS, RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook, standing together on stage and sharing another chapter of their journey with ARMY. Toronto may have brought the rain, but BTS and ARMY brought the warmth. And after more than a decade since their previous Canadian shows, Toronto finally got its BTS moment again.
