Of New Year resolutions For Fashion Geek

I know, it’s the second month of 2014 and resolutions are usually made in the beginning of the year. I never really make resolutions or write them down anyway just thoughts I tick off in my head as I go along. But I’ve decided I need to make this one, I haven’t really been blogging that much due to some unrelated reasons and other stresses of life. So this time I think I need to put it down on paper as a goal I have for this New Year 2014. Written down resolutions have more meaning than just declaring something and let it fall as it may. And the best part is that now that I will put it down I will have no more excuses as to why I have not achieved it come December 31^st 2014. Now that I will share it with the whole world I will have people that I will be accountable to…not just for encouragement but also for critiques.

So here goes my 2014 resolution for fashion geek….my goal which I must absolutely achieve this year is…drum rolls please….to WRITE 1,000 POSTS by December 31^st 2014! Now it’s out there and I have no control over it. I absolutely must achieve this goal not just for my own piece of mind but also to give me something to thank God for and as a self-esteem booster. Once I achieve it, I will celebrate it and do something really great…like…hhhhm I need to think of the best way to reward myself for achieving this goal. I have 14 POSTS so far so in the meantime I need to keep moving so wish me luck guys!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now back to fashion, I’ m loving the Black and White Stripes fashion that has been a great hit for some time. Add a dash of this monochrome look and you are off to a great fashion start. Here are some of my favorite Black and White Stripes LOOKS.

Fashion Geek turns TWO on 27th Dec 2013!!!!

Fashion Geek Turns TWO this month!!!! I'm so excited! It has been tow years of having fun writing about what I love, being inspired by the many fashion Trends, Accessories and all things Fashion. I never dreamed that I would still be writing Fashion Geek with as much enthusiasm and excitement now as I still had when I began writing this blog.  I wrote my first post on 27/12/2011 and I have never looked back. Fashion has always inspired me and I love discovering what is new out there. I love Designers and the kinds of clothes that they bring out every season. Fashion Geek has been like the best friend of fashion where I can pour out my thoughts without worrying whether they will be wrong or right. After all Fashion is all about how you feel, what you want at that moment, the kind of emotions that the piece of cloth or fabric brings out and whether you are satisfied with what you have put on. Just simple pleasures that you get in Fashion.
These two years have been categorized by a lot of milestones, I know I would have wanted more than that but I have written Over 300 posts and the best part is that my blog hit the 100,000 page views mark. And it has all been made possible by you my readers whom without, Fashion Geek would have been just an idea in my head and not a really great blog that I enjoy writing and even reading. Sometimes I come across a post and I'm like huh, I had forgotten about you completely! But I have fun with it all so.....

All the fashion ideas, suggestions and even motivation to write come from the fact that you read them and even make comments about my work.
Writing is my passion and I love fashion so writing about it makes me happy and having readers makes it even more exciting. Fashion Geek is all about fashion and anything that makes us beautiful and look forward to facing the days.
