BTS brought their highly anticipated ARIRANG World Tour to Chicago, turning Soldier Field into a sea of purple as ARMY gathered to welcome the group back to the city. The members performed two consecutive shows on August 27 and 28, 2026, marking another major stop on their massive global tour.

With thousands of fans filling the stadium, the Chicago concerts became a memorable celebration of BTS, their music, and the incredible connection they share with ARMY.

The Chicago shows were part of BTS's 2026–2027 world tour, which features a large-scale stadium production and an immersive 360-degree stage design. Soldier Field's official event information listed the concerts for 8:00 p.m., with gates opening at 6:00 p.m.

The in-the-round setup allowed fans around the stadium to experience the performance from different angles, adding to the excitement of BTS's long-awaited return to the global concert stage.

j-hope shared photos of his time in Chicago giving fans a glimpse of how he spent time during his free days. He went out with Namjoon to a Pokemon fossil museum, they had Pizza and he checked out several landscapes in Chicago.
