Trend To Take into 2017 is the Lamp Shading Trend

A very interesting Trend that first appeared in 2015 that I cannot absolutely ignore or let go is the Lampshading Trend. For those not in the know, Lampshading Trend is achieved by pairing an oversize top over either a short skirt, shorts or even tights or knee high boots to achieve a silhouette of a lampshade. This creating the look of a lampshade is where the name originated from, oversize/buggy top and slimming bottom. The top part of the outfit should be long enough that it covers the bottom part of the outfit completely or you can opt to just wear the oversize top that is long enough that your bottom is tights or thigh high boots. This style was made popular by the Kardashians like Khourtney Kardashian was seen in this trend, Kylie Jenner was also spotted wearing the Lampshading Trend. Even Rihanna was in on it. So you can see how popular the trend was and still is. The Lampshading Trend can be achieved by wearing an oversize Chunky Sweater worn over Boots or an oversize Long Shirt. The name may make the Trend seem complicated but it is a simple trend that can be worn by anyone who wants to try something new and exciting. Check out some tips and ideas on how you do the Lampshading trend effortlessly.

Trending now Earlace Earrings

These are the newest trends in fashion accessories, as far as jewellery goes the ear lace jewellery is the best so far. This is because they make head turning statement for the wearer. The inspiration for the ear-lace comes from the need to wear earrings and a necklace at the same time without having to decide which earrings go with which necklace, quite inventive i must say. This is something that can be worn as both earrings and necklace. Be warned this style is for the brave hear-ted as it takes a strong will to have earrings that come up to your chest. Some are made of a lighter metal so as not to become too heavy to strain the neck or pull at the ear lobes. You can accessorize with feathers or plain pair with a cute outfit and you are good to go.

Boyfriend Jeans A Fashion Staple

Boyfriend jeans and trousers are over sized jeans and trousers worn by women. Made immensely popular by the Hollywood hottie Katie Holmes, this is a trend which seems to be going really strong for Spring 2011, precisely for the reason that it looks super comfortable, roomy and airy!
What to wear with boyfriend jeans
As is the unspoken rule with most fashion items, team loose with fitting and vice versa. If you are wearing baggy, loose fitting boyfriend’s jeans, team them with well fitting shirts, vests and tee shirts to present a relaxed, comfortable yet feminine look, which is carefully thought out and not at all shabby or masculine!
How should they fit?
The fit of these jeans is relaxed, and while they sit low but are fitted at the waist, and are loose and relaxed all through the butt, thigh and leg area. Very often these are folded at the bottom into a loose cuff to further accentuate the casual air about them.
If you are not getting a pair of jeans which are classified as ‘Boyfriend jeans’, choose a relaxed fit in a size which is one bigger than your regular size. Ensure that while it fits at the waist, it sits a little lower than usual and the thigh and leg area are loose and roomier. Do not choose sizes which are bigger than one size as they may be too loose fitting and you may end up looking shabby.

Trendy Lace Shoes for the modern woman

Lace shoes are a trend that has been seen on the runway since last year 2011 especially black lace shoes. They are elegant and create an impression of sexiness and  a woman who is in control of her fashion sense. Lace shoes can be worn as an accessory especially with  a short dress to have them stand out.
The most popular are black lace shoes but you can have them in different colored designs, or a lace shoe that has lace on a particular spot. Even a little lace on the shoe looks spectacular when matched with the right outfit.
Designers are coming out with designs that are fabulous while some are more artistic and better suited on the catwalk. Whatever your likes, the lace shoe is a classic piece of shoe that is not about to die anytime soon.
Here are a few samples:

Have you been hit by the Man purse/Man bag trend

Rise of the Man Purse Lil Wayne recently appeared at a basketball game carrying a Louis Vuitton murse. Seen on stars from Jude Law to Jay-Z, and on the Burberry runway, the man-bag is having its moment. By Isabel Wilkinson.

When Lil Wayne appeared courtside at Game 3 of the WNBA finals last week, he looked appropriately badass in a pair of cutoff denim shorts, an oversized Jersey, and a million-dollar sneer. But then, as he cheered on his team, we saw it: there, hanging from his belt, was a small Louis Vuitton pouch, no larger than his palm. Maybe it held his business cards, Kleenex or his house keys, but one thing was for sure—it was a murse.

Smack your lips for the The Red Lipstick trend

Easy Tips for Wearing Red Lipstick
Red lipstick is classic, elegant, versatile. And with these guidelines, everyone (yes, that means you) can wear it.
by Jolene Edgar
Consider the lighting. "If you're going to be outdoors, pick a softer or sheerer shade," says Rachel Lockhart, owner of Rachel's Makeup Studio, in Boston. "For evening, go bolder, so your features stand out."
Avoid deep reds if you have thin lips. They tend to make lips look smaller.
Experiment with intense shades if you have strong coloring. "Natural contrast gives you more options," says Jill Morton, head of ColorCom, a consultation agency in Honolulu, says of those with exaggerated natural coloring (for example, paper-white skin, black hair, and blue eyes).
Don't play up your eyes. "Pair red lipstick with the lightest possible eye makeup," says lipstick designer Poppy King. A little mascara and beige shadow will do.

Color Blocking Fashion Trend 2011

Color Blocking has been a 2011 fashion trend that hit the fashion industry by storm. The trend is yet to die down as it is bold, fabulous and a trend that will forever be in the vintage archives of fashion.
When spotting this trend just make sure that you do not dress with too many colors as they will make you look confused and lost in a hue of many colors. Just choose two or even three but make sure you blend them well to achieve a perfect little out fit and complete it with simple accessories or none at all since the colors are bold enough by themselves.

Crackle Nail Polish trend

You know how you usually freak out, say a choice word or boil with frustration when you smudge or chip a fresh manicure? Well, looking un- polished (sorry, we had to!) isn’t so taboo in the manicure world anymore.
The newest trend to hit salon and store shelves is crackle nail polish. Yes, it looks just like it sounds. It creates a crackly, textured look on your nails. With some brands crackle nail polish almost gives off a safari or leopard print vibe. While makeup companies dabbled in the crackle nail polish trend years ago, today’s crackle polishes come in a wide spectrum of colors with varying shimmers and truly give off an edgy, artsy look.

To get the desired look, you paint on a base color and top it with a black top coat that crackles over the base coat.
