BTS Tops Billboard Boxscore August Tours With $171.7 Million From 12 Shows
BTS has added another major milestone to its ARIRANG World Tour, topping Billboard’s Top Tours ranking for August with a staggering $171.7 million in reported ticket gross and 801,000 tickets sold across 12 shows.
According to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore, the August total marks the second-biggest monthly gross in Boxscore history, behind Beyoncé’s $179.3 million reported in August 2023. It also gives BTS another month at No. 1 on the monthly Top Tours chart as the group continues its massive global return.
The August numbers came entirely from BTS’ North American stadium run, which featured six two-night stops. The biggest reported engagement was at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, where the August 1 and 2 concerts generated $32.7 million from 158,000 tickets.
The group followed that with two nights each at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Rogers Stadium in Toronto, and Soldier Field in Chicago. Billboard reported grosses ranging from approximately $24 million to $30 million for those engagements, with all six stops appearing on the monthly Top Boxscores chart.
The August schedule began at MetLife Stadium on August 1–2, followed by Gillette Stadium on August 5–6 and M&T Bank Stadium on August 10–11.
BTS then traveled to Texas for two nights at AT&T Stadium on August 15–16, before heading north to Toronto for concerts at Rogers Stadium on August 22–23. The month concluded with two nights at Chicago’s Soldier Field on August 27–28.
The North American chapter continued into September, with BTS performing four shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on September 1, 2, 5 and 6. Those concerts officially closed the North American leg, which consisted of 31 performances across 12 cities and attracted an estimated 1.92 million spectators overall.
But ARMY does not have to say goodbye to ARIRANG yet.
The world tour resumes October 2 in Bogotá, Colombia, where BTS is scheduled for two concerts at Estadio El Campín on October 2 and 3. The Bogotá concerts are followed by three dates in Lima, Peru, on October 8, 10 and 11; three in Santiago, Chile, on October 14, 16 and 17; three in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 21, 23 and 24; and three concerts in São Paulo, Brazil, on October 28, 30 and 31.
Following the South American leg, the currently scheduled itinerary moves into Asia, beginning with Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in November, followed by Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta through December. The tour is then scheduled to continue into Australia and Asia in 2027, including Melbourne, Sydney, Hong Kong and Manila.
For ARMY, the numbers tell only part of the story. After years of waiting to see all seven members back onstage together, ARIRANG has turned into a worldwide celebration, one stadium at a time.
