It’s been six years since Katy Perry announced herself with “I Kissed a Girl,” which became her first hit single (and somehow made Chapstick sexy). Ever since, her immense popularity has stemmed largely from her ability to straddle that divide between Madonna (one of her idols) and girl next door. Far more wholesome than that twisted genius Lady Gaga, Perry still exudes vastly more heat and sensuality than, say, Taylor Swift. Part of that’s due to Perry’s top-heavy physicality, but her sly lyrics and full-throated delivery deserve credit, too.
In her music, all of which she co-writes, she handily mixes innocence with lust. She wants to be your homecoming queen and made her mark singing about reading Seventeen and learning how to shave her legs. But she also yearns to melt your Popsicle and see your peacock, cock, cock. When you add in God—she was raised Pentecostal and once recorded on a Christian label—things get even more complicated.

For any woman Dark under eye circles are an eyesore and the cause of many women’s little stresses in the morning. Nothing makes your eyebrows cringe like the sight of hideous dark circle under your eyes. It may be self-inflicted like staying out all night at parties or sometimes it may be because of that project you have been working on that your boss told you he wants it yesterday. However much you would like to ignore the dark eyes circles, they stand out and are able to be seen so there usually is no sense in refusing to make the problem go away. This is where the use of makeup comes in. it does not matter whether you use little or no makeup at all, the dark circles will have to be concealed as you wait for nature to take its course and make them disappear.

When Kate Middleton the Duchess Of Cambridge was announced pregnant the whole world celebrated the news all excited about whether it would be a girl or a boy. Names were suggested passed across the net, people guessing where the baby would be born and all those details. While everybody else was focused on the baby Kate Middleton was probably more excited and anxiously waiting for the baby. While the world watched her pregnancy we watched how her fashion was going to change, evolve or grow as the baby bump began to show. We knew she would still remain royally smart but with elegance and poise as she always is. And true her fashion did change albeit slightly, she still wore her dresses and trench coats, put on makeup and even accessorized her looks. Kate Middleton's fashion was accented with royal flair. Though she loved to put on coats that covered the baby bump her sense of personal style was not forgotten. While attending events with or without Prince William, Kate chose her maternity wear that suited her body as the body changed during the pregnancy. She maintained her elegance and love for heels. Like any pregnant mother Kate was comfortable in whatever she wore just to show you that you do not have to compromise on your style just because you are expectant. Did you love her maternity wear and which look was your favorite?

I know, it’s the second month of 2014 and resolutions are usually made in the beginning of the year. I never really make resolutions or write them down anyway just thoughts I tick off in my head as I go along. But I’ve decided I need to make this one, I haven’t really been blogging that much due to some unrelated reasons and other stresses of life. So this time I think I need to put it down on paper as a goal I have for this New Year 2014. Written down resolutions have more meaning than just declaring something and let it fall as it may. And the best part is that now that I will put it down I will have no more excuses as to why I have not achieved it come December 31st 2014. Now that I will share it with the whole world I will have people that I will be accountable to…not just for encouragement but also for critiques.

Ankle or cropped pants have been on the fashion scene for a while…seen on the cat walks by designers, worn by celebrities so it means they are a fashion must have for every woman who is fashion forward. Crop pants are stylish, simple to put together and versatile. They can be worn as official outfits, casual or for a day out for functions from weddings to graduation parties. Their length makes then seem casual making many women to almost shy away from them but you just need to know how to pull off the look. Crop pants can be worn during the hot season actually they are comfortable enough to be worn all year round in all seasons. During the hot seasons you can wear with lighter fabrics like sheer tops and chiffon blouses, pairing with flat shoes, wedges or heels. During the colder seasons you can pair with a warm cardigan and go for boots or booties because of their cut and length. Want a laid-back look; you can opt to wear slouchy pants with pieces of fabrics that are lighter in colors and material. If you are trying to wear the ankle/ crop pants for formal occasions pick darker shades for the office and they can be paired with an official jacket and heels. When the weather is hot add a dash of color for a bright look.

The Red Carpet has seen a lot of different colored dresses that have been worn by celebrities. While Yellow is a color to be worn during spring or summer and for daytime events, the color can be worn for night events. The color can be paired with other colors like black, red, blue or even white. When it comes to makeup less is better that having bright makeup since yellow is already loud on its own. The yellow dresses on the Red Carpet came in all shapes, designs length and from different designers. The dresses were detailed, simple some were sheer and even laced. Most of the celebrities carried clutch bags and wore heels that complemented the outfits. Kim Kardashian's yellow dress came with a slit. Reese Witherspoon, Kendall Jenner, Jourdin Sparks and Jourdan Dunn opted for a shorter version of the yellow dress. Solange Knowles went for a flowing peplum yellow dress while Lupita Nyong'o went for a cut out yellow dress. See more Yellow Red Carpet Dresses.
