BTS V’s Name Alone Generated $3.84 Million in Media Value for CELINE at Paris Fashion Week
BTS’s V continues to demonstrate the extraordinary power of his global influence, with his name alone generating an impressive $3.84 million in media value for luxury fashion house CELINE during Paris Fashion Week. The staggering figure, equivalent to approximately 5.2 billion South Korean won, highlights the singer’s remarkable ability to create attention and drive brand visibility even without attending a fashion show.
According to a report released by Lefty, a global influencer marketing analytics platform, V contributed significantly to CELINE’s media performance during the 2027 Spring/Summer Paris Fashion Week. The report examined brand exposure generated through social media content published between September 28 and October 7, assessing the advertising value created by influencers and celebrities during the fashion event.
Media value is an important measurement in the fashion industry, helping brands evaluate the reach and impact of their partnerships with public figures. For CELINE, V’s contribution proved particularly noteworthy.
The luxury brand recorded approximately $17 million in total media value, equivalent to around 22.9 billion won, throughout Paris Fashion Week. Remarkably, V alone accounted for approximately 23% of that total, generating $3.84 million despite not attending CELINE’s Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear show in Paris on October 3.
His contribution underscores the strength of his influence as a global ambassador. While celebrities often generate attention through their physical appearances at fashion events, V’s impact demonstrates that his association with a luxury brand can continue to attract substantial interest even in his absence.
This is not the first time the BTS member has commanded extraordinary attention at a fashion event. During the Spring/Summer 2027 menswear season in June, V made headlines after attending CELINE’s menswear show. Within just two hours, his presence reportedly generated more than 7.5 million social media interactions and over 2.2 million mentions, illustrating the immense enthusiasm surrounding his appearances.
V’s popularity has also attracted recognition from the fashion press. Vogue France previously described the phenomenon surrounding the singer as extraordinary, reflecting the intense public interest he brings to fashion events and luxury brands.
As one of BTS’s most recognizable members, V has established a strong presence beyond music, building a reputation as a fashion icon whose influence extends across international markets. His distinctive personal style, global fanbase, and ability to generate online conversations have made him a valuable figure for luxury brands seeking to connect with audiences worldwide.
The latest figures offer another striking example of the commercial power attached to V’s name. With millions of dollars in media value generated without a physical appearance at the show, the singer continues to prove that his influence reaches far beyond the stage.
V’s current brand ambassadorships include, CELINE, Cartier, TIRTIR, Champion, Jinro, Nothing, Coca-Cola, Compose Coffee, Snow Peak Apparel, Yunth, Paradise City, SimInvest, and Seoul Tourism Organization
