According to Wikipedia Afro, sometimes shortened to 'fro and
also known as a "natural", is a hairstyle worn naturally by people
with lengthy kinky hair texture or specifically styled in such a fashion by
individuals with naturally curly or straight hair. The hairstyle is created by
combing the hair away from the scalp, allowing the hair to extend out from the
head in a large, rounded shape, much like a halo, cloud or ball.
In persons with naturally curly or straight hair, the
hairstyle is typically created with the help of creams, gels or other
solidifying liquids to hold the hair in place. Particularly popular in the
African-American community of the late 1960s, the hairstyle is often shaped and
maintained with the assistance of a wide-toothed comb colloquially known as an
afro pick.
The style was popular in the 80’s but then it began coming
back but with different variations. Both men and women can rock the afro
Hairstyle as it is simple to maintain and keep. All you need is your natural
hairs and let it grow out. It is mostly common for Africans since their hair is
frizzy and natural. Styling is just combing it out or you can put a band at the
front to make it different. Would you wear an Afro hairstyle today?

Dreadlocks have been a style that was associated with rebelling against normal societal expectations, but that is changing because there are some offices that have allowed a more official looking dread locked hairstyles. Most creative office have been the ones to embrace such styles, others like financial institutions or the media still find the hairstyle not too official looking. But the best part about having dreadlocks is that you have the freedom to just let the hair grow and not worry about having which hairstyle or with which to put on. The most flattering hairstyles for oval faces are… well, pretty much anything! From sophisticated bobs with bangs to long, beachy waves parted down the middle, practically any style will work unless your face is particularly long. If you do have a very long, oval face, add brow-skimming bangs, cheek-grazing layers or curls to help balance a longer oval shape. Chin-length bobs, like Gwyneth Paltrow‘s, are also great because they create the illusion of width.
Avoid… Short layers that add height on top of your head and can make your face appear longer as well as hair that is too long (like Megan Fox‘s), which can drag down the face.
The most flattering hairstyles for heart shaped faces are… hairstyles that draw attention to your eyes and cheekbones. Try side-swept bangs that hit at the arch of your brow, a strong part or hair that falls below your jaw line with soft, long layers. Feeling bold? A pixie is sure to look great!
Avoid… Short, blunt bangs and choppy layers.
Celebrities with a heart shaped face are… Katie Holmes, Jennifer Lopez, Rachel
Bilson, Reese Witherspoon.
