It's a proud moment for any youngster to battle their way onto the property ladder. You may have a two bed terrace with rising damp and slight subsidence but it's finally your own little nest. And plucky Kendall Jenner has now pulled herself up by the boot straps and got her own little pad (her second, actually), after saving up a reported £4.8m ($6.5m). And as far as damp, it has its own private swimming pool. According to TMZ, the model bought the pad from John Krasinski and Emily Blunt and it's situated in Hollywood, naturally. The 20-year-old model splashed out on the stunning property, which features six bedrooms and five bathrooms. And this is actually Kendall's second property after she bought a two-bedroom condo in 2014 for $1.39 million. According to TMZ, the younger sister of Kim Kardashian paid $450,000 below the original asking price for the 4,800-square-foot contemporary-style home. It is situated on the Sunset Strip, above the Chateau Marmont Hotel and has panoramic views. With wood floors, exposed brick and walk-in wardrobes Kendall doesn't even need to spend all weekend shopping for wallpaper and building Ikea cupboards. http://www.mirror.co.uk/

1) Set small patterns against large ones, limit your palette and include one solid piece.
2) Pick a color theme, look for variations in pattern, balance large scale with an allover print, solids in theme colors anchor the look.
3) Find one item that is multicolored and pair them with other pieces that pick up the colors of that scheme. Keep furniture pieces basic and solid to act as a canvas.
4) If you limit your palette to a couple of vibrant hues and play them off of a neutral background, a playful mix of prints looks cohesive while effectively moving your eye around the space.

5) A monochromatic palette against a neutral background makes it impossible to mess up.
