“Please”, BTS RM Makes Urgent Request to ARMY During Latin America Tour Regarding Camping Outside Hotels
BTS has officially entered the South American leg of its massive ARIRANG World Tour, bringing the group to Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil throughout October. The Latin American run marks another major chapter in the group’s global tour, but as excitement surrounding the concerts continues to grow, RM has also made an emotional request to fans, please give BTS and their staff privacy and enough space to rest.
After BTS arrived in Peru following their two concerts in Bogotá, RM addressed fans through Weverse. He expressed his excitement about visiting Peru for the first time, but also spoke about a difficult situation the members and staff had experienced in Colombia. According to RM, people had been gathering outside the hotel throughout the day, creating significant noise that could be heard inside the rooms.
He explained that the lack of quiet and rest was affecting the members’ ability to sleep properly. RM also pointed out that the situation was causing inconvenience to other guests staying at the hotel.
The BTS leader emphasized that he understands how meaningful the group's arrival is to ARMY. However, he asked fans to show their support in a way that also protects the members’ wellbeing.
“It's so noisy inside the rooms that no one is sleeping well,” RM wrote, explaining that insufficient rest could ultimately affect the performances BTS is able to deliver. He then asked fans not only in Lima, but also in Chile, Brazil, Argentina and future Asian destinations, not to remain outside hotels hoping to see the members.
His message was ultimately one of appreciation as much as a request for boundaries. RM thanked ARMY for the warm welcome and enthusiasm surrounding the tour and said he hoped fans would understand. He also expressed his desire for BTS and ARMY to build what he described as a more mature and proud relationship.
The timing of RM’s message comes as BTS continues with one of the most anticipated sections of the ARIRANG World Tour. The Latin American leg opened in Bogotá, Colombia, with two concerts at Estadio El Campín on October 2 and 3. The shows marked BTS’ first full-group concerts in Colombia.
The group then traveled to Lima for three performances at Estadio San Marcos, scheduled for October 7, 9 and 10. The additional Lima performance was among three shows added to the Latin American schedule, bringing the regional total to 14 concerts across five countries.
After Peru, BTS will continue to Santiago, Chile, for three shows at Estadio Nacional on October 14, 16 and 17. The tour will then move to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where BTS will perform at Estadio Único de La Plata on October 21, 23 and 24. The South American journey will conclude in São Paulo, Brazil, with three concerts at Estádio do MorumBIS on October 28, 30 and 31.
The expanded schedule represents a major moment for BTS and its Latin American fanbase. The group’s concerts in Colombia, Peru and Argentina are particularly significant because they mark BTS’ first full-group performances in those countries.
The South American shows are part of BTS’ much larger ARIRANG campaign, which has already taken the group across Asia, Europe and North America. The tour has become a celebration of BTS’ return as a complete seven-member group while also giving fans around the world an opportunity to experience the group’s latest music alongside beloved songs from its discography.
The arrival of BTS in South America has been accompanied by enormous excitement, fan projects, concert freebies and gatherings surrounding each show. But RM’s message serves as an important reminder that supporting BTS also means respecting the members’ personal boundaries.
Rather than following the members away from the concert environment, fans can show their enthusiasm inside the stadium, through fan projects, official events and the energy they bring to the performances.
As BTS continues through Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and São Paulo, RM’s request gives the South American leg another meaningful dimension. The group has traveled thousands of miles to perform for its fans, and the best way ARMY can return that love is by allowing the members the quiet, rest and privacy they need to give their best on stage.
RM ended his message with gratitude and affection for ARMY, signing off in Spanish: “Los amo.” It was a simple but powerful reminder that the relationship between BTS and its fans is strongest when built on mutual respect.
Hello, Latin America, we are now in Peru. It's my first time coming to Peru, so I'm really excited and happy! It's the same in Colombia; the members and staff are having a very hard time because there are people stationed in front of the hotel all day long. It's so noisy inside the rooms that no one is sleeping well. In addition, we are causing great inconvenience to other guests staying at the same hotel. We appreciate your warm welcome and enthusiasm, but if we do not get enough rest and sleep, it will affect the performances we are able to present to you.So please, I hope you won’t stay in front of hotels not only in Lima, but also in Chile, Brazil, Argentina, and many other Asian countries in the future. I beg you.I hope the ARMYs, the coolest fans in the world, understand, and I believe they won't. I hope we can become a more mature and proud relationship. We'll do our best in today's performance as well.I am always grateful and love you. Los amo.
