American Eagle’s underwear brand Aerie continues to grab headlines witch the launch of its fall 2017 campaign. Photographed by Ali Mitton, the Aerie Real initiative features a diverse group of models posing in its Real Me collection. Charlotte Day (See Management) worked on makeup for the outdoor shoot. The unretouched images spotlights five new nude shades to complement an array of skin tones. From breathable bras to briefs and thongs, the new season includes positive styles such as Honesty, Energy, Inspiration, Strength and Confidence.

Happy New Year my favorite readers!! When I came up with the title for this post immediately the song Return of the Mack by Mark Morrison kept singing in my head. The lyrics have nothing to do with fashion but I do love old school music and since we are talking about the return of the Velvet Fashion in 2019, it just sort of works together, the song and the title..hehehe... anyway, back to fashion, velvet fashion that is, I used to look at velvet strangely, to me it was better worn as a luxurious bathrobe, but then there were fashionistas on the street making velvet look all gorgeous, elegant and beautiful. If you are or were like me then I have a few street style looks that will make you give velvet a chance. The material comes in all sorts of colors, shades and designs. From velvet trouser, velvet dress, velvet jacket to even velvet skirt, this trend is still amazing and there are so many ways to make it work for you. Velvet can be worn to work like a blazer, skirt or even full suit. You can wear a fitting velvet dress for dinner or a little black dress with strappy sandals.
